The one meant for me

So accepting and loving.

Showing me pure love

Introduction:

Priya opens her collection not with longing or physical presence but with recognition — the immediate, certain knowledge that what she has found is what she was always meant to find. For a woman shaped by a tradition that understands love as something that transcends single lifetimes, recognition of this kind carries spiritual weight far beyond romantic feeling. This is the poem of arrival.

Author's Note:

I knew relatively quickly that Scott was different from anyone I had encountered before. Not in a dramatic way — in a quiet, certain way. He accepted me completely. Not the version of me that is composed and professional and capable, but all of me. I had not experienced that before in quite this way and I recognized it for what it was. This haiku was my way of naming that recognition simply and without elaboration, because some truths do not need elaboration.
